Georgia was know as the "Quail Capital of the World." This title was justified by the large abundance of wild
bobwhite quail across the state. Pope Plantation is dedicated to creating an environment for wild quail to thrive.
The beauty of quail hunting is having the opportunity to walk in the outdoors with some of your very best friends while
watching some great bird dogs hunt for quail. When quail hunting you do not have to sit quiet in a stand.
Walking the beautiful property and carrying on a conversation while waiting on a covey to bust in the air is what makes quail

We have courses designed for beginners and easy walking while also catering to advanced hunters that need a challenge.
Georgia quail hunting at its best with 6 huge courses to enjoy. Quail hunting season for plantations start October
1st and end March 31st.
